I have joined PIKS to help the economic and political development of Kosovo by focusing on improving both formal and informal education. I am highly motivated to increase gender equality in access to education all over Kosovo, focusing on rural areas. I believe that education is the cornerstone to the development of our country and that grassroot initiatives such as PIKS can have a great impact on its advancement.

Fjolla works as the Finance and Research Assistant at GAP Institute for Advanced Studies, a local think tank that works to close the gap between the decision makers and Kosovo’s society in matters of public policy. She graduated summa cum laude from RIT in Kosovo (AUK). She studied Economics and Public Policy and was the President of the AUK Model United Nations Club. Beginning this fall, she will pursue a master degree in Public Administration with a focus on Education Policy, as a Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF) fellow.
